Fun and Creative Dot-Coms Available A to Z

Thu, 28 Mar 2013, by Syrsly
I do a lot of domain browsing thinking I may just find a domain I like.  Sometimes, I just search random names for the heck of it.  Other times, I get these domains as suggestions by my domain registrar when I'm searching for something else.  Below are a few domains I thought were cool.
ArtIFap.com
Ever wanted to make sexy art?  Here's a catchy handle that isn't taken!  Woo!  Boobs.
Alternatives: ArtUTap.com
BeatTheLastLevel.com
This one is good for a game guide or cheats website.
Alternatives: defeattheboss.com,  findallhiddenobjects.com
Codaxi.com
I was very tempted to take this for myself.  It is a very programmer-centric name in my opinion, but it is not obviously so.  It could be used practically anywhere.
Codinganon.com
This domain could be taken two ways, CodingAnon or CodinGanon, both of which are great names for a programmer's blog. Alternatives: codinganonymous.com, codersanon.com
DemonTrail.com
I love this name.  I just have nothing to use it for.  Come on, Demon Trail sounds like a bad-ass racing game.  Dammit, I wish I was in the market for some a name, because it is perfect!  XD
Alternatives: eviltrail.com
Elebri.com
A nice generic name for a female identity.  It could be used practically anywhere.
Ebzen.com
A very short name.  It could be useful for a magazine, art site, whatever.
forallthe.com
Great for a new search engine or shopping site.  Users would type "forallthe.com/" and then whatever they need to find.  For example, "forallthe.com/groceries" or "forallthe.com/games".
GameSated.com
This was a domain I originally considered when I was making getlives.com, but I decided that people probably wouldn't know what sated means.  Ironically, GetLives was a failure, as well, in terms of marketing value.  At least GameSated has "game" (or "games") in it.  At the same time, GetLives was a name that seemed to insult people.  I did not think it was a big deal at first, but it really prevented the site from becoming populated.  So yeah, GameSated may be a good reviews site for someone.  If you actually use this domain, let me know! :) Other available "game" domains include gamekit.com, progamereview.com, and newgameapp.com.
Hellgavemecrabs.com
Just a random phrase.  I really did not have any good domains for this letter.
IMakeToons.com
Oh my gawd.  Why isn't this taken?!  I would take it but I do not currently make toons.  I'm gonna send this to Egoraptor and say "Hey I got like domain shit and stuff".  Maybe I should send it to LegendaryFrog, as well.  Gawd, so many possibilities... eh, I'm bored of it now.  Moving on.
JoshCoder.com
A domain that would seemingly work perfectly for me.  Sure, I am a coder, but what if I wanted to change professions or take up a non-coding hobby?  I also think it sounds like someone else's name.  "Hi. I'm Coder. Josh Coder."  Yeah, I wish that was my real name.  Eh. Moving on.
KraitSlayer.com
I'm a big fan of Guild Wars, so this was the first thing that popped into my head when searching for a domain that begins with 'k'.  It could make a very good title for a Guild Wars 2 community site. Alternatives: levelguide.com (not cheap)
LevelDesignExpert.com
I want to laugh at this name, because it makes me think of those lame commercials for schools of game development where you learn how to design for video games.  To be perfectly honest, the design of a video game could be the hardest aspect of its development.
MLFGG.com
Short for MenLookingforGamerGirls.com.  These men are hot and waiting for your girl parts to play video games with them.
Alternatives: MenLookingforGamerGirls.com, menlooking4gamergirls.com, m4gg
NeoPotter.com
What if Harry Potter was in The Matrix?
Oculsa.com
Random generic name.  Good for a handle, I guess.
Pyresoft.com
I imagine a software company with a logo of a wooden computer.  A fire works, too.
QuizDeveloper.com
If you make a lot of quiz games, this domain would be perfect for your portfolio.
RADToolDev.com
Has "RAD" in it, which means rapid application development, and "tool" and "dev", so it is fairly marketable.  It seems redundant to have "RAD" and "Dev" in the same name, but it really isn't.
SideJobSeeker.com
I sometimes wish there was a good alternative to Craigslist.org for side jobs.  What I mean by side jobs is jobs you do in addition to your regular work.  Maybe something already exists to fill that void, but I have not seen a good job board for online jobs aside from bidding sites like Guru and Freelancer.  I hate bidding sites.
TeamForTheWin.com
This was an afterthought when teamsamurai.com was taken.  Not sure what you'd use it for.  Sports, gaming, maybe even a dancing squad?
UnityJunkie.com
I like Unity3D as much as the next guy, but this guy overdoses on it.
vgdojo.com
VideoGameDojo.com is taken, but it is a blank page, and the guy who owns that domain does not seem willing to give it up.  However, the short form is still available, and in my opinion, it is a lot more marketable because it can be typed more quickly.
WorldOfWusses.com
Imagine a MMORPG where you didn't fight anything because you were too scared you'd die.
XenoToys.com
Aliens crash-landed on Earth and spread joy to every child, boy and girl, all in one night!
ymirsoft.com
I was extremely tempted by this name, because it is something I would expect to be taken already.  A software company name, obviously.  My only gripe about this domain is it could be hard to explain in spoken words.  Ymir is simply an awkward word that is not spelled the way it sounds.  Also, a lot of people would probably pronounce it incorrectly.  Still, I think the name is very memorable.
ZedGamer.com
Yes, this one is a bit iffy, but it is the best I could think of.  It could mean that you play all games, from a to "zed".  It could also be a reference to zombies.  A few years ago, I would have jumped on this name in a heartbeat, because I was absolutely addicted to the idea of reviewing games.  That period in my life has passed, but perhaps you want the name?
All these domains are available right now for only $10, but you should get them before someone else does!  I recommend Namecheap.com for registering domains.  I may do another post like this one every few months if I come across enough cool names.
